Veteran’s Mental Health Resources and Peer 128

Valley-Wide Counseling and Support Center focuses on wellness, recovery, and resilience by providing traditional, longer-term counseling for needs that may include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, parenting, youth/adolescent issues, relationship issues, and grief. We also offer EMDR and Acudetox. Our Peer 128 program has Peer Specialists who have faced similar challenges and learned skills to help others through recovery. Our Peer Specialists help individuals reduce stress and isolation, improve skills, promote positive self-esteem, build networks, and connect them with community resources. Peer 128 offers a safe and relaxing environment, inspiration and encouragement to help our clients succeed, and a nonjudgmental ear and shoulder to lean on. We also help connect our clients with local resources that aid in housing, employment, and building relationships with professionals and individuals. With Peer 128, our clients will create a Wellness and Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) to set recovery goals and the steps needed to achieve those goals.
