SLV Behavioral Health Group (SLVBHG) General Information

The San Luis Valley Behavioral Health Group (SLVBHG) offers many mental and behavioral health services across the San Luis Valley. Individual and group counseling is available, as well as Medicated Assisted Treatment for substance misuse disorders.

We have a mobile response team that responds to crisis calls 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Call the main number 719-589-3671.

We have school-based services for children. Contact our office or the school counselor for a referral.

We have a client advocate available to help you speak for yourself, or can speak on your behalf. Call 719-589-3671 and ask to speak to Lea Chavez.

Although we provide various outpatient services, there is no inpatient Psychiatric Care in the San Luis Valley. Individuals requiring inpatient psychiatric care often travel to Pueblo or Colorado Springs. Treating individuals within the community relates to more family involvement and better outcomes.

We offer training and education for organizations in behavioral health, addictions, substance abuse and suicide prevention and awareness.

We have offices in Alamosa, Antonito, Center, Del Norte, La Jara, Monte Vista, San Luis, South Fork, Fort Garland.
