The SLV Immigrant Resource Center offers the Por Ti Misma program assisting immigrant survivors /crime victims. We prepare all necessary paperwork for work authorization and legal residence, and then submit paperwork to USCIS. We provide referrals for support and counseling in domestic violence and sexual abuse cases. We assist crime victims to apply for VAWA (Viiolence Against Women Act) or the U-visa if eligible and help survivors of crime increase find and retain safe, long-term housing. Confidentiality is assured. Non-governmental and services provided free of charge.
