Service Description:The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition and food assistance program that provides nutritious groceries, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and other services free of charge. To qualify for WIC in Colorado, you must live in Colorado and be pregnant, a mother of a breastfeeding baby under 1 year of age, a new mother who had a baby or was pregnant in the past 6 months, or you have a baby or child younger than 5 years. Fathers, grandparents, or any caregiver of a child under 5 years of age may apply for WIC for their child. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the income eligibility guidelines: https://www.coloradowic.gov/2023-2024-income-eligibility-guidelines. U.S. Citizenship is not required.
