National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)

The National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) prepares Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers (MSFW) for new careers and also provides support services to MSFW participants and their families.

The NFJP prepares Migrant/Seasonal Farmworkers (MSFWs) for new careers through:

  • College tuition assistance
  • On-the-job training
  • Work experience programs
  • Job placement support

The NFJP partners with The Training Advantage (TTA) and Rocky Mountain Service Employment and Redevelopment (RMSER) to provide job and training services. TTA Operates employment and training programs in partnership with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and CO Rural Workforce Consortium. TTA assist participants in being better prepared to find and keep a job. They also provide skills training. Located in the Workforce Centers.

Support Services for MSFW Families

RMSER also provides support services to MSFW participants and their families. These services assist with:

  • Training-related expenses
  • Emergency gas, food, and rent
  • Utility assistance

We are proud to partner with employers across Colorado to train and hire our participants. RMSER is committed to helping NFJP participants gain the credentials and job skills needed to succeed in growing industry sectors.
